Instructions for using the reducer

The use of the reducer is also skilful. Correct installation and use of the reducer will greatly help the service life of the reducer. Generally, the following points should be done to properly extend the service life of the reducer.

1. After 200~300 hours of operation, the oil shall be changed for the first time, and the quality of oil shall be checked regularly in future use. The oil mixed with impurities or deteriorated must be replaced in time. In general, for the reducer with continuous operation, the oil shall be replaced once a year or 5000 hours of operation. For the reducer that has been out of service for a long time, the oil shall be replaced before re operation. The reducer shall be filled with oil of the same brand and shall not be mixed with oils of different brands. Oils of the same brand but with different viscosity are allowed to be mixed.

2. During operation, when the oil temperature exceeds 80 ℃ or the oil pool temperature exceeds 100 ℃ and abnormal noise is generated, stop using. Check the cause, eliminate the fault, and replace the lubricating oil before continuing operation.

3. The user shall have reasonable use and maintenance rules and regulations, carefully record the operation of the reducer and the problems found in the inspection, and strictly implement the above provisions.

4. When changing oil, wait until the reducer cools down without burning danger, but still keep it warm, because the viscosity of oil increases after complete cooling, making it difficult to drain oil. Attention: cut off the power supply of the transmission device to prevent inadvertent power on!
