If you want to determine the oil quantity of the helical gear reducer, if you check the oil quantity under normal operation, there is a large difference between the actual oil quantity and the oil quantity. Here, you need to stop the machine to check, and judge whether you need to refuel again according to the oil quantity. However, some problems are needed when refueling helical gear reducer.

When filling the helical gear reducer, the oil volume can be added to 2/3 of the oil window. Do not add lubricating oil when the worm gear reducer is running. Because during the operation of the worm gear reducer, the internal component gear or worm gear rotates to drive the internal lubricating oil together. If the worm gear reducer oil is judged in this case, it may be full or lower than 2/3 of the oil window, or even without any lubricant.

When using the new helical gear reducer, it is necessary to replace the oil after 300 hours of continuous rotation. After that, change the oil every 2500 hours. However, the quality of the oil should be checked regularly during use. It must be replaced at any time due to impurities, aging and deterioration. Helical gear reducer shall use fixed gear and gear oil, and shall not be mixed with oil of different brands, sizes or types. When changing the oil, first clean the inside of the reducer, and then inject new oil.
