Bearing damage in planetary reducer is a common problem. Because the gear of planetary reducer has high hardness, strong wear resistance and high durability, it is often caused by bearing damage. If it is a soft tooth surface reducer, the gear breakage is more common. In addition to the quality problem of the bearing itself, there are other reasons for the damage of the bearing. Here we will explain the maintenance of the imported reducer.
1. The bearing cavity is not cleaned or the grease added is not clean. For example, the tiny rigid substances in the bearing cage are not thoroughly cleaned up, and the bearing raceway is damaged during operation, causing excessive temperature rise and burning of the bearing.
2. As the temperature rise of the motor body is too high and the bearing is not replenished with grease in time, the bearing is short of oil or even burnt.
3. The maintenance of the planetary reducer prompts that the bearing is improperly assembled. For example, uneven tapping on the inner ring of the bearing during cold assembly causes the shaft to be worn, resulting in the loss of the interference between the inner ring of the bearing and the bearing or the reduction of the interference, which causes the inner ring to run. Uneven tapping on the motor end cover causes the end cover bearing chamber and the outer ring of the bearing to run loose, which causes the outer ring to run. Whether running the inner race or the outer race, it will cause the temperature rise of the bearing to rise sharply and burn out, especially the failure of the inner race will cause serious wear and bending of the shaft. However, the intermittent running of outer ring generally will not cause a sharp rise in bearing temperature. As long as the bearing is in good condition, the intermittent running of outer ring is allowed.
4. During reducer maintenance, due to axial misalignment of stator and rotor cores or insufficient accuracy after re machining of the rotating shaft, the inner and outer rings of the bearing are not on the same section, which causes the temperature of the bearing to rise until it is burnt out after 'abnormal' operation.
5. The bearing shall be replaced again. The excessive interference or ovality of the motor end cover after nesting will cause the bearing ball clearance to be too small or uneven, which will increase the friction force when the bearing is running, and the temperature will rise sharply until it is burned.
6. The equipment has not been operated for a long time, the grease has deteriorated, the bearing has rusted and has not been overhauled, and suddenly it is put into use again.
