Correct installation steps of RV reducer

The use and maintenance of the reducer is an important link to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when you install the planetary reducer, be sure to carefully assemble it in strict accordance with the following installation sequence.

Step: Before installation, confirm whether the motor and reducer are intact, and strictly check whether the dimensions of all parts connected with the drive motor and reducer match. This refers to the size and fit tolerance between the locating boss and shaft diameter of the drive motor flange and the locating groove and hole diameter of the reducer flange; Wipe the dirt and burrs on the mating surface.

Step 2: unscrew the plug on the process hole at the side of the reducer flange, rotate the input end of the reducer to align the locking socket head cap with the process hole, and insert the socket tool to loosen the locking socket head cap.

Step 3: Hold the drive motor, make the keyway on the shaft perpendicular to the holding screw of the reducer input end hole, and insert the drive motor shaft into the RV reducer input end hole. The concentricity of the two flanges must be consistent and the two flanges must be parallel when inserting. If the concentricity is inconsistent or the flanges on both sides are not parallel, the cause must be found out. In addition, during installation, hammering is strictly prohibited, which can prevent the excessive axial or radial force of hammering from damaging the bearings of the two, and can also judge whether the two fit properly through the assembly feel. The method to judge the concentricity and parallelism of the two flanges is: after they are inserted into each other, the two flanges are basically close to each other with the same gap.??

Step 4: In order to ensure that the force on the flange connection between the two is uniform, first screw on the fastening screws of the drive motor at will, but do not tighten them; Then gradually tighten the four fastening screws diagonally; Then tighten the holding screw of the reducer input end hole. Be sure to tighten the fastening screws of the drive motor first, and then tighten the holding screws of the reducer input end hole.

Note: The correct installation between RV reducer and mechanical equipment is similar to the correct installation between reducer and drive motor. The key is to ensure that the concentricity of the reducer output shaft and the driven part input shaft is consistent.
